As we are a nonprofit organization, many of the materials we need for our programs comes out of an exceptionally low budget and most times out of our own staff’s pocket.

Choosing to homeschool can mean financial sacrifice for many families, as it often means one parent must stay home. Therefore, seeking additional educational support at Mighty Roots can be a financial strain for many of our families. Having the ability to provide scholarships is a huge blessing!

As our community grows, so does the need for more learning space. Your donation will help us build additional classrooms and structures that allow more children to experience our nature-based, hands-on approach to education. These new spaces will provide room for specialized classes, small group learning, and shelter from the elements—supporting a nurturing environment where curiosity, creativity, and connection can flourish.

We offer courses in all the core subjects (math, science, literature, history, etc.…) as well as art and STEM courses and even college prep. We also provide many extra-curricular activities such as theater, dance, outdoor skills, team building sports, CSI and more! Our hope is to continue expanding upon our existing programs as well as offering further options for our students with a wide variety of interests.
