We’ve homeschooled our son his whole life, and since enrolling him at Mighty Roots several years ago, it has become one of the best parts of our week. He's outside, he's learning things we couldn't easily replicate at home, and he's built real friendships with kids across different ages. We love that he comes home excited about what he learned and the fun things he did outside, not worn out from sitting at a desk inside all day. If you’re looking for a program that actually supplements what you’re doing at home, this is it!

We started at Mighty Roots Academy this school year with our 5-year-old son in the Homeschool Academy program. The program and the staff have exceeded all of my expectations! The whole program feels like a great big family. Everything runs so smoothly and efficiently. They really prioritize social opportunities for the kids as well as time outdoors, both of which were essential for our family. They add in a healthy dose of wholesome academics. We hope to add Creative Options courses next year too. We are so excited to have MRA as partners in our homeschooling journey and can’t wait to continue our partnership for the years to come!

Mighty Roots has been a wonderful stepping stone for us as first-time homeschoolers. Our daughter is benefiting from engaging topics and hands-on study. We have been at Mighty Roots for two years for homeschool enrichment. Our kids love all the classes, spending time outside, and the opportunities to learn with friends! We as parents are happy to have the flexibility of being able to homeschool, but also having loving teachers who enrich their learning with great core and elective class options. The greatest testimony we can offer, though, is that our kids are sad on the days they cannot go to school or have holidays. They would rather be at Mighty Roots!

Our family has been enrolled in the Wednesday Creative Options program at Mighty Roots Academy for the past 3 years. It has been a great fit for us and we love it! My children have been able to build new friendships while taking a variety of amazing STEAM classes. I admire MRA's focus on being outdoors, as any time spent in nature can be a valuable learning experience! Both the learning guides and the natural surroundings at MRA help foster a lifelong appreciation and respect for nature and the outdoors. There are so many fun choices of classes to take that it was difficult to choose! The kids spend so much time outside, being creative, and using their imaginations.  One of the things I love most about Mighty Roots is the chance to explore advanced topics that match my interests. But what makes it even better is the variety - there’s something here for everyone. I’ve also discovered how valuable mixed-age learning can be; it’s taught me leadership, empathy, and how much we can learn from one another.

 Mighty Roots is such a welcoming fun place. I love how we have time to play and build friendships, and all while learning new things.

 A new class this year is Chemistry in the Kitchen that I really like. We get to cook and eat food in the class, and we get to learn the science of how it’s all made. My learning guides really care about me. 

When I first came to Mighty roots, I wasn't so sure. But soon I was positive it was the place for me. I made fast friends, and I have loved it ever since.

 I like playing in the woods.

 I love Mighty Roots because we learn a lot, and it is fun to play. I like to play with my friends too.

     I like how at lunch you can just go and play and do what you want. We get to play for a whole hour at lunch!

    At Mighty Roots I have lots of friends and lots of cool things to play with.
